The quality plan can be used as:

A base for arguing for certain resources

A help when balancing between cost and quality
The quality plan contains many details and can be gradually fine-tuned
over time. Note that it should be considered a “living document” as you
constantly improve your work and processes.
Measure the quality
Many aspects can be measured and it might be tempting to cover too
much. However, measuring is difficult and requires resources. You need
to collect data, maybe over a longer period of time. You need to evaluate
data and draw conclusions. If the result does not come to practical use,
people might lose confidence and stop producing data.
For these reasons, it is highly important that the aspects you decide to
measure are relevant. You should carefully consider:

What is relevant to measure in your case.

Whether there are any external requirements on measurement.
Various methods for measuring quality will be briefly discussed in the
tutorial and one real-life example will be presented. The result and the
conclusions will also be presented.
