A well-established therapeutic relationship<br />

between parents and therapist is known to be of<br />

utmost importance during their children’s treatment.<br />

During early socialization processes, the<br />

interaction between parents and children is crucial<br />

for the improvement of their own development<br />

skills. Therefore, what happens in theses<br />

previous encounters is essential for the outcome<br />

of therapy.<br />

We have worked with five families in group and<br />

private sessions during a one-year treatment<br />

period of children with a diagnosis in the Autismspectrum<br />

disorders. Parents will reactive fears,<br />

desires, fantasies and emotional aspects of their<br />

own relationships during childhood.<br />

It is our objective to share the observation and<br />

recollection of these experiences during the early<br />

socialization processes of their offspring.
