A well-established therapeutic relationship
between parents and therapist is known to be of
utmost importance during their children’s treatment.
During early socialization processes, the
interaction between parents and children is crucial
for the improvement of their own development
skills. Therefore, what happens in theses
previous encounters is essential for the outcome
of therapy.

We have worked with five families in group and
private sessions during a one-year treatment
period of children with a diagnosis in the Autismspectrum
disorders. Parents will reactive fears,
desires, fantasies and emotional aspects of their
own relationships during childhood.
It is our objective to share the observation and
recollection of these experiences during the early
socialization processes of their offspring.
