to take pride in their children’s achievements, in
spite of the fact that parents might be surpassed
by their children and may have no knowledge or
affinity for the field their children have elected,
the young adults in such predicaments are able
to embrace a mutually reciprocal intimate relationship.
When parents are able to say clearly
“No”, then, when they say “Yes”, it does mean
yes. Consequently, parents teach their children
to mean “Yes” and “No”. as much as “No” is the

key word of separation individuation, “yes” is the
key word of merging, relating, engaging in a relationship.
CONCLUSION: The parental role is essential
for the completion of the process. Children and
their parents alike are transformed by the “adolescent
crisis”, they undergo a metamorphosis
that optimally give birth the butterflies of young
and responsible adults as well as supportive, and
wise mature adults. The failure of this process
leads to severe psycho pathology.
