Group X-Ray <strong>Equipment</strong> and Accessories<br />

X-ray film scanner to permit filmed images to be converted to digital format. Device uses computer controlled laser beam to read the film<br />

data and converts the beam data to digital image data. Scan modes shall be 12-bit (4096) grayscale, 8-bit (256) grayscale or bi-level.<br />

Geometric accuracy shall be better than 1% or 2 pixels, whichever is greater, in both axes. Optical density range from 0.01 to 3.0. Shall<br />

accept all standard film sizes. Selectable scan speed for a 14" x 17" file are 11, 13, 26, and 51 seconds. Shall conform to the SCSI-2<br />

specification. SCSI termination and ID selection are accessible on the unit. <strong>The</strong> system shall be DICOM 3.0 or latest version compatible,<br />

for easy linkage to filmless image management systems and review stations.<br />
