Blast gate for use with a bench or central vacuum system in a dental or other laboratory. The unit consists of a sliding panel in a frame
which allows air to flow toward a vacuum source when the panel is opened. The gate is usually mounted in the vertical face of a laboratory
bench service ledge. The front and back faces have flanges which adapt for the 3" hoses in the vacuum system. The gate is usually
finished in baked enamel.
