Computer assisted recumbent bicycle aerobic trainer. <strong>The</strong> trainer provides aerobic workouts on a computer controlled and monitored<br />

recumbent bicycle ergometer. <strong>The</strong> ergometer has several training routines and intensities which either the exerciser or a therapist can<br />

select. <strong>The</strong> unit display provides a readout of work accomplished as well as graphics to motivate the exerciser. Many models offer<br />

optional heart rate monitoring and wheels for easy mobility. Depending on the manufacturer and model, the computer is powered by the<br />

exerciser or an external source. <strong>The</strong> database electrical requirements are for those units requiring electrical power. <strong>The</strong> trainer is used for<br />

cardio-respiratory development in a gym or the exercise area of Physical <strong>The</strong>rapy.<br />
