Description
Unit of Issue EA
Group Miscellaneous
Cardiac telemetry system for monitoring multiple ambulatory patients. System consists of portable digital or analog telemetry units, an
antenna array, a multi-channel receiver, strip chart recorder(s), a central station signal processor/computer with monitor and the software
necessary to run the system. Database pricing reflects a system sufficient to support monitoring eight patients but does not include
installation costs (which vary per facility). Electrical characteristics reflect total system requirements through multiple power connections.
Physical characteristics refer to the central station unit only; the other components are small or mounted above the ceiling grid. This
equipment is often bundled with and bought as part of the direct care patient monitoring system (DCPMS) for a facility (see JSN M7800
series).
