Neonatal/pediatric ventilator. Unit consists of ventilator pump, breathing circuit, controls, monitors, and alarms. <strong>The</strong> control mode<br />

regulates patient breathing, not allowing the patient to breathe spontaneously. <strong>The</strong> assist mode is designed for patients who have<br />

difficulty breathing, but who can initiate inspiration. Both modes use a variety of parameters (pressure, volume, CPAP, etc.) to regulate<br />

respiration rates.<br />
