Description
Unit of Issue EA
Group Food Service Equipment
Electric cutter-mixer. The unit has a 40 quart or larger stainless steel pivoting bowl, tubular steel frame base, 5 HP motor, a bowl cover
that mechanically interlocks with the electric motor to prevent operation when the cover is open and a second interlock to prevent the
motor's running when the bowl is tilted for pouring. A drag mechanism holds the bowl in position when tilted away from vertical to keep
it from spilling. Some models are also equipped with timers. The database height dimension includes the clearance required to fully open
the cover. The depth dimension is for a fully tilted unit with the cover fully open. The cutter/mixer cuts, mixes and blends food in seconds
with complete control from start to finish. The unit is used in large kitchens of commercial food service establishments and hospitals.
