Freestanding pulper/grinder for food waste disposal. The unit grinds food waste into small pieces and uses a water press to remove
fluids. The product is a waste slurry with less volume, with less water content and which is less susceptible to the immediate
microorganism growth which generates foul odors. The database price for the unit includes an accessory table/trough but the pulper can
be integrated into a dishwasher conveyor system to save floor space. The pulper units must process at least 700 lb. per hour and have a
series of motors totaling at least 7 HP. Multiple drains may be required for the unit. Larger pulpers are available which process up to
3,000 lb. per hour. Model numbers vary according to the orientation of the input and output chutes. The pulper chosen for installation
must be verified against the final kitchen utility and plumbing configuration to ensure compatibility.
