Ellis contributed several hundred articles on literary, political, medical, psychological<br />

and anthropological subjects to well over 50 European and Amer<br />

periodicals. See Wellesley 5 1989 for his contributions to Contemporary<br />

Rev, Fortnightly Rev, Modern Rev, Nineteenth Cent and<br />

Westminster Rev. Ellis also contributed widely to collaborative works and<br />
