Letters<br />

More than 6,000 letters by Kipling are preserved in over 138 libs all over the<br />

world, and items are still appearing in sales rooms. In Britain the Univ <strong>of</strong><br />

Sussex, the BL and the Bodleian have significant holdings. A collected edn <strong>of</strong><br />

Kipling’s letters is in progress, ed T. Pinney, 1990– .<br />
