<strong>The</strong> principal repositories <strong>of</strong> Reade’s notebooks and notecards are the London<br />

Lib and the Morris L. Parrish Col at Princeton (details <strong>of</strong> the latter are given in<br />

Smith, Bibliographies, below). Mss and correspondence relating to Reade<br />

can also be found in Huntington; Wellcome Institute for the History <strong>of</strong><br />

Medicine; Yale; and the Harper Col, Pierpont Morgan Lib. Twenty-four<br />

playscripts written or co-written by Reade are held in the Lord Chamberlain’s<br />
