John Critchley Prince 1808–66<br />

A considerable collection <strong>of</strong> Prince’s letters and his commonplace book are to be<br />

found in Manchester Central Reference Lib. <strong>The</strong> mss <strong>of</strong> several poems and<br />

letters between Prince and various publishers and printers are also to be found<br />

there, and have been catalogued by B. E. Maidment in A descriptive catalogue<br />

<strong>of</strong> records relating to John Critchley Prince in the possession<br />

<strong>of</strong> Abel Heywood and Co. (1975).<br />
