NYPL. Letters to the Soc <strong>of</strong> Authors are in the BL, and to H. G. Wells in the<br />

Wells Papers at the Univ Lib <strong>of</strong> Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Parts <strong>of</strong> her<br />

correspondence with her publishers are in the Macmillan Papers at the BL and<br />

in the John Lane Papers in the HRHRC, Austin TX. Jocelyn Nixon’s private<br />

archive contains several ms notebooks <strong>of</strong> poems (some extracted from periodicals),<br />

and some correspondence. <strong>The</strong> Doris Langley Moore archive contains<br />

transcripts <strong>of</strong> many letters from Nesbit.<br />
