Representative reviews <strong>of</strong> Morris’s major works are rptd in Morris: the critical<br />

those that do not appear in Faulkner, also respond to the original edns. Apart<br />

from the reviews and contemporary criticism, the secondary sources listed<br />

below are limited, with few exceptions, to those concerned with the texts <strong>of</strong><br />

Morris’s publications, their language, their revisions, their printing and other<br />

aspects <strong>of</strong> their transmission.<br />

<strong>The</strong> William Morris Society, founded in 1956, with branches in the USA<br />

and Canada, publishes both a quarterly Newsletter and, twice yearly, <strong>The</strong><br />

Jnl <strong>of</strong> the William Morris Soc (1961– ). Its headquarters at Kelmscott<br />

House, 26 Upper Mall, Hammersmith, houses a collection <strong>of</strong> Morris books,<br />

papers and memorabilia. Significant collections <strong>of</strong> Morris materials, including<br />

Morris and Company products as well as books and papers, are located at<br />

<strong>The</strong> William Morris Gallery, Walthamstow, and at <strong>The</strong> Victoria and<br />

Albert Museum.<br />
