Out of there priests of the Greek Catholic Church who were in the communist prisons,
there are many other priests (106 priests) who, among 1948 – 1989, opposed the
communist regime in various forms: they stayed hidden, they worked at various factories,
hospitals, agricultural cooperatives, refused to accept the plans of the communist regime,
as a form of anticommunist resistance.
