5) spiritually mutilating the Moldavians through imposing an artificial language, foreign
as compared to the Romanian one and an ideologically counterfeited identity;
6) forbidding the free conscience, the right to associate, the free initiative, exterminating
and marginalizing the intellectuality;
7) liquidating the peasantry as class through forced collectivization and the deportations
from the beginnings of the `30s of the XX-th century;
8) the terrible famine during the years 1932-1933;
9) launching the repressions against the so-called “anti-Soviet” and “nationalist”
elements from the mid `30s of the last century, deporting and exterminating in mass
the people, through the decisions of extra-judiciary institutions, of the so-called
„troika”;
10) occupation, through dictate, on 28 June 1940, of Bessarabia, Northern Bucovina and
HerŃa Land, following the Soviet-German transaction from 23 August 1939 and the
subsequent secret understandings between USSR and Nazi Germany;
11) realizing a Soviet-system transplant in the occupied Romanian territories and
forcedly imposing the communist totalitarian regime;
12) applying terror against the forefront of the of the public life, of the intellectuals, of
the clergymen, and of the simple people remained in the occupied territories,
executing assassinates out of class-hatred reasons;
13) forced exodus of tens of thousand people, especially intellectuals, from the territories
occupied by USSR;
14) abusively forming the Moldavian SSR and tearing Bessarabia’s territory;
15) forbidding the Romanian alphabet and language, and imposing the Russian alphabet,
through the Decision of the Council of People’s Commissars of the USSR from 11
November 1940;
16) abusively cancelling the right to Romanian citizenship through the Decree of the
Presidium of the USSR Supreme Soviet, as regards the re-establishment of the Soviet
citizenship by Bessarabia’s inhabitants and its acquisition by Northern Bucovina’s
inhabitants from 8 March 1941;
17) deporting in USSR’s far-away regions tens of thousands innocent people on 13 June
1941;
18) ante-War and post-War forced mobilization of tens of thousand youth on the work
sites (FZO) from USSR and their enrolling in the Soviet Army;
19) arresting and depurations operated by the Soviet-repression organs in the first post-
War years;
20) organizing the famine in 1946-1947;
21) deporting in USSR’s far-away regions tens of thousand innocent people on 6 July
1949;
22) liquidating the private property, confiscating the peasants’ material assets and
collectivizing the village;
23) persecuting the Church, the clergymen, closing, desecrating and demolishing the
religious establishments;
24) deporting for faith in the far-away regions of USSR, on 1 April 1951, the believers of
the confession “Jehovah’ Witnesses”;
