Conclusion
Summarizing the Stakhanovite movement in Hungary we can say that from one side the
movement was successful: the Party partially could turn the people’s attention from the
really important problems – many people were enthusiastic, really believing in a better
future and their ability to form it themselves.
From the other side – considering the productivity and the economic development of
Hungary – the program did not fulfil the party leaders’ hope.
