Undoubtedly, the jurisprudence on the residence permit status established a protection
of “family life” in the field of relationships between different cultures and nationalities.
For the future the development of the jurisprudence and the application of national
lawyers in practice will be interesting.
Building a Europe united, in freedom and diversity means that we have to strengthen
families and new family structures. In matters of residence permit cultural-mixed families
epitomize the motto of European Union: “In varietate Concordia – United in
Diversity!”
