We used the exploratory factorial analysis, and based on the Keiser-Meyer-Olkin test value
analysis (KMO = 0.745), we assumed that the sample dimension is the right one to the
realization of the exploratory factorial analysis (Principal Axis Factoring).
From the exploratory factorial analysis, after 30 items on the risk and safety ASA scale of
perception, and after the Varimax rotation, 19 items were extracted, which explains 63.33%
of common data variance.
We also intend to analyse the correlations established between the model dimensions and
check if the independent variables in study (sex, age, qualifications, specific formation on AS,
complementary formation on AS and professional experience years) influenced the
technicians perception.
After the results analysis, we checked that there are statistically significant differences
between the independent variable, sex and the “Operational Technical Behaviour “
dimension and the “Activities Planning “ dimension, while for the others independents
variables there aren’t statistically significant differences. So, when we evaluate the risk and
safety perception on ASA, we will only be conditioned by the sex.
