Temos, assim, diferentes representações <strong>de</strong>ssa realida<strong>de</strong>, <strong>de</strong> acordo com o quadro <strong>de</strong><br />

referência (grelha <strong>de</strong> interpretação) utilizado.<br />

Ora o mundo mudou e continua num processo <strong>de</strong> mudança galopante. Nada nos garante<br />

que o quadro <strong>de</strong> referência que utilizamos seja o mais eficiente, que as estratégias que<br />

seguimos sejam as mais apropriadas, que as transformações que provocamos sejam as mais<br />

ajustadas, etc.. Nada nos garante que muitos outros pressupostos que tomamos como<br />

certos o sejam <strong>de</strong> facto.<br />

Mas certamente que resistimos à mudança, não nos atrevemos a entrar por caminhos<br />

<strong>de</strong>sconhecidos on<strong>de</strong> per<strong>de</strong>mos as seguranças que temos. Reproduzir é mais seguro,<br />

pensamos. Mas os paradoxos que enfrentamos <strong>de</strong>smentem-no.<br />

ABSTRACT<br />

We take the risk to <strong>de</strong>clare that what we usually call the pedagogical process is no more<br />

than a set of assumptions and misun<strong>de</strong>rstandings.<br />

We tend to pass on knowledge and look for a tutor-trainee relationship to facilitate and<br />

make this knowledge transmission efficient. And the assessment of this process focuses,<br />

regularly, in quantifying (often not even that) the amount of knowledge that was acquired<br />

and can be <strong>de</strong>bited.<br />

When instruction was aimed this process was consistent and correct. But we are talking<br />

about education, training, <strong>de</strong>velopment, etc.. We do not know, in fact, how the knowledge<br />

transmission will influence these aspects and even less how this influence can be efficient.
