Abstract<br />

The acts of indiscipline have been a part of daily life in school. The indiscipline or lack of<br />

social skills in physical education (PE) classes prevent a climate conducive to learning and<br />

have endogenous and exogenous sources to stu<strong>de</strong>nts. The action of the teacher should<br />

focus on the endogenous factors, creating alternatives to the current dynamics of the PE<br />

classes. It is crucial to learn new strategies and mo<strong>de</strong>ls that can be applied to the classes<br />

focusing on <strong>de</strong>veloping social skills in stu<strong>de</strong>nts, contributing to the end of misbehavior in PE<br />

classes, with transfer to the day-to-day school. The performance of other roles (coach,<br />

referee, statistician, etc.), inherent in the sport education mo<strong>de</strong>l (SEM) can and should be<br />

used in pursuing the acquisition of social skills am performance. Based on the literature<br />

review we conclu<strong>de</strong>d that the SEM emerges as an alternative form of organization of classes,<br />

bringing a huge contribution to the inclusion of marginalized stu<strong>de</strong>nts, the increase in the<br />

levels of motivation, <strong>de</strong>crease off task behaviors, the <strong>de</strong>velopment of social skills and<br />

performance. This new dynamic to the classroom can be applied to problematic classes in<br />

physical education or in general.<br />
