Abstract:<br />

Physical education is presented as a privileged means of Education Curriculum, primarily<br />

from its emphasis on the socio-affective, psychomotor and cognitive <strong>de</strong>velopment, coupled<br />

with a strong practical environment in opposite to most other disciplines. By scrutinizing the<br />

concepts of 'multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary "we realize its immense potential for the<br />

contribution of an integral education, while we glimpse the difficulties of its implementation.<br />

Since the segmentation by temporal and spatial limitations of the curriculum, it is possible<br />

for all school staff to contribute somehow to the <strong>de</strong>velopment of these practices within<br />

schools. Once teachers are the main agents of education in school, they hold the ultimate<br />

responsibility of linking areas of expertise to promote efforts to ensure that education is<br />

increasingly. After checked the possibilities, we conclu<strong>de</strong> that it is possible to link different<br />

areas of knowledge between the Physical Education and other disciplines is necessary to<br />

have a coordination of efforts among the teaching staff. Thanks to the strong practical<br />

component that is evi<strong>de</strong>nt in the EF, this is conducive to raising the creativity that, with<br />

proper articulation, will benefit the education of stu<strong>de</strong>nts.<br />
