Abstract:
Physical education is presented as a privileged means of Education Curriculum, primarily
from its emphasis on the socio-affective, psychomotor and cognitive development, coupled
with a strong practical environment in opposite to most other disciplines. By scrutinizing the
concepts of 'multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary "we realize its immense potential for the
contribution of an integral education, while we glimpse the difficulties of its implementation.
Since the segmentation by temporal and spatial limitations of the curriculum, it is possible
for all school staff to contribute somehow to the development of these practices within
schools. Once teachers are the main agents of education in school, they hold the ultimate
responsibility of linking areas of expertise to promote efforts to ensure that education is
increasingly. After checked the possibilities, we conclude that it is possible to link different
areas of knowledge between the Physical Education and other disciplines is necessary to
have a coordination of efforts among the teaching staff. Thanks to the strong practical
component that is evident in the EF, this is conducive to raising the creativity that, with
proper articulation, will benefit the education of students.
