A optimização da polivalência dos espaços <strong>de</strong>sportivos é <strong>de</strong>terminante para um ensino <strong>de</strong><br />

qualida<strong>de</strong> da EF. O ensino por etapas <strong>de</strong> aprendizagem, assim como, o trabalho conjunto<br />

entre turmas <strong>de</strong> um mesmo ciclo <strong>de</strong> ensino, são exemplos <strong>de</strong> estratégias metodológicas com<br />

repercussões positivas nos diferentes estados <strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong>senvolvimento dos alunos.<br />

Abstract:<br />

The main purposes of this study are: (1) to justify the importance of implementing new<br />

contents inclu<strong>de</strong>d in the National Program of Physical Education (EF) that are not usually<br />

approached in classes, and (2) to provi<strong>de</strong> solutions regarding the use of materials, human<br />

resources, and methodological approaches in the teaching of EF.<br />

The present study inclu<strong>de</strong>s a review of literature about this subject, and a critical analysis,<br />

consi<strong>de</strong>ring the theoretical knowledge acquired during the Master on EF in Primary and<br />

Secondary School Teaching. Some examples are approached about how the Professional of<br />

EF could address certain contents, facing the real conditions of the school. This paper<br />

presents methodological guidance/suggestions that are implicit in the National Program of<br />

EF, and are rarely followed or used. The gui<strong>de</strong>lines/methodological suggestions proposed<br />

here are aimed to an optimal use of all school resources available for the teaching-learning<br />

process in EF.<br />

The optimization of versatility of the sports spaces is crucial to assure the quality of the<br />

teaching of EF. Consi<strong>de</strong>ring learning steps in teaching, as well as, the aggregation of classes<br />

in the same cycle of education, are examples of methodological strategies with positive<br />

effects in different stages of <strong>de</strong>velopment of the stu<strong>de</strong>nts.<br />
