Abstract<br />

This article have essentially two aims: 1) to show briefly the main characteristics of the<br />

traditional education mo<strong>de</strong>l and the ecological education mo<strong>de</strong>l in Team Sports; 2) to<br />

provi<strong>de</strong> tools of pedagogical intervention for physical education teachers at the evaluative<br />

and practical levels for the mo<strong>de</strong>ls previously mentioned. The article’s methodology<br />

presents a literature review to research documents related to the teaching of physical<br />

education in schools. With this literature review, we intend to compare the main<br />

characteristics of the traditional education mo<strong>de</strong>l and the ecological education mo<strong>de</strong>l, then<br />

we’ll suggest two examples of evaluation for these mo<strong>de</strong>ls. Later, we'll present a practical<br />

example of an exercise of the traditional education mo<strong>de</strong>l and another of ecological<br />

education mo<strong>de</strong>l. We conclu<strong>de</strong> from this article that both education mo<strong>de</strong>ls have different<br />

characteristics and that their approach, both in evaluation and the implementation of the<br />

exercises, differs significantly. However, we do not intend to discredit any of these education<br />

mo<strong>de</strong>ls, since both are likely to be implemented consi<strong>de</strong>ring that the stu<strong>de</strong>nts who physical<br />

education teachers <strong>de</strong>al with do not have similar motor skills.<br />
