Abstract
This article have essentially two aims: 1) to show briefly the main characteristics of the
traditional education model and the ecological education model in Team Sports; 2) to
provide tools of pedagogical intervention for physical education teachers at the evaluative
and practical levels for the models previously mentioned. The article’s methodology
presents a literature review to research documents related to the teaching of physical
education in schools. With this literature review, we intend to compare the main
characteristics of the traditional education model and the ecological education model, then
we’ll suggest two examples of evaluation for these models. Later, we'll present a practical
example of an exercise of the traditional education model and another of ecological
education model. We conclude from this article that both education models have different
characteristics and that their approach, both in evaluation and the implementation of the
exercises, differs significantly. However, we do not intend to discredit any of these education
models, since both are likely to be implemented considering that the students who physical
education teachers deal with do not have similar motor skills.
