Abstract: This article relates the importance of skating instruction, the relevance of this
modality as a matter of education, both for their excellence and for the pleasure it conveys
to
its participants.
Ignored by many teachers and by parents for its bold nature, have long been trying to
radiate such a myth. The security issues that should be the priority of the teacher, make this
strong fear, be rectified.
The advantages that this method brings the students are very important to give up such
activity. Besides being an excellent means of locomotion, is fundamental skating skills in
sports especially at the level of dynamic equilibrium.
Because it is a different mode of which are usually taught in schools, it is very motivating,
and the students' motor engagement practitioners is high.
Throughout the text we also present some beginning skating techniques, which could be the
basic of a first approach mode.
