Journal of Chromatography A 1134, 210-214.A high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) separation method with an evaporative light-scatteringdetector (ELSD) has been developed for the separation and quantitative analysis of fatty acid methyl esters(FAME) in three <strong>di</strong>fferent oils. Reverse-phased C 18 HPLC separation of 13 FAME is achieved using amethanol/water eluent mixture. The retention times (RT) reflect the elution behavior of these compounds on C 18reversed-phase HPLC.
