Ayrıca ilkelerini Kur’an <strong>ve</strong> sünnetten alan <strong>ve</strong> Ahi teşkilatına dayanak teşkil eden âyet <strong>ve</strong> hadislerin bir kısmına yer <strong>ve</strong>rilir. Yetiştirilen elemanlar arasında çırak, kalfa <strong>ve</strong> usta hiyerarşisi kurularak bunlar baba-evlat ilişkisine bağlanır <strong>ve</strong> zanaatın sağlam temeller üzerine kurulduğu vurgulanır. Esnaf <strong>ve</strong> zanaatkârların iyi <strong>ve</strong> kaliteli mal yapmaları <strong>ve</strong> birbirleriyle anlaşmazlığa düşmeyecek şekilde organize olmaları üzerinde durulur. İkinci bölümde Ahiliğin örgüt yapısı açıklanır <strong>ve</strong> bu bağlamda çırak, kalfa, usta, yiğitbaşı, kethüda gibi meslek elemanları tanımlanıp bunların görevleri <strong>ve</strong> çalışma koşulları anlatılır. Her esnafın bir yardım sandığının bulunduğuna <strong>ve</strong> buna Orta Sandığı denildiğine işaret edilir. Giriş kısmında toplumların iktisadî tarihinin oluşumunda sahip oldukları din, dil, kültür gibi unsurlara vurgu yapılır. Osmanlı Devleti’nin kuruluşunda etkin bir rol oynayan Ahiliğin, Selçuklulardan Osmanlılara geçtiği belirtilir. Müteakiben Osmanlı Devleti’nden önceki Türk-İslam <strong>ve</strong> İslam devletlerinde görülen Fütüv<strong>ve</strong>t teşkilatının benzerliğine işaret edilir. Ahiliğin anlayış <strong>ve</strong> köken olarak Fütüv<strong>ve</strong>t teşkilatının bir uzantısı olduğu ileri sürülür. Birinci bölümde fütüv<strong>ve</strong>tin lügat anlamı <strong>ve</strong> terminolojik kullanılışı üzerinde durulur.
