After studying communications in Grenoble, he<br />

learned fi lm directing at the Fémis. Having graduated<br />

in 1992, he had already shot several shorts and<br />

worked as an assistant director (1989 Antonin, short,<br />

Yves Caumon; 1991 Jacquot de Nantes, Agnès Varda).<br />

Then he moved to Los Angeles, where he was hired<br />

as a screenwriter by the Walt Disney Company. He<br />

returned to France in the mid-1990s and began<br />

directing TV documentaries and reports. Other credits<br />

(as actor): 1995 La Vie parisienne (short, Hélène<br />

Angel); (as co-screenwriter): 1999 Peau d’Homme,<br />

Cœur de Bête / UK and USA: Skin <strong>of</strong> Man, Heart <strong>of</strong><br />
