While studying graphics in a Parisian art school, he<br />

directed musical videos <strong>of</strong> a pop-rock band he cocreated,<br />

Oui-Oui (he was the drummer <strong>of</strong> the group).<br />

Oui-Oui recorded two albums (Chacun tout le Monde<br />

and Formidable) and several singles until 1992. He<br />

fi lmed video clips for the Rolling Stones, Oasis, and<br />

the Chemical Brothers. His collaboration with singer<br />

Björk led him to fi ction and Hollywood.<br />
