She studied at IDHEC (directing and editing departments)<br />

from 1979 to 1982 before serving as an assistant<br />

to directors Alain Robbe-Grillet, Serge Leroy,<br />

and Shuji Terayama. In the early 1980s, she created<br />

her own production company, Bakti Productions, and<br />

began directing shorts. From 1987 to 2003, she was a<br />

Politiques de Grenoble (1985–1988), she went<br />

to Avignon, where she frequented the <strong>French</strong>-<br />

American Workshop, a <strong>French</strong>-American fi lm festival,<br />

in 1991. The same year, she began writing theatrical<br />

reviews for L’Express Paris (1991), the Avignon<br />

festival (1991–1993), and the Radio France Vaucluse<br />

program La Festivalière. She enrolled in the Fémis in<br />

1993. Having graduated in 1997 (screenplay department),<br />

she directed the making <strong>of</strong> Claude Chabrol’s<br />

Au Coeur du Mensonge / UK: At the Heart <strong>of</strong> the Lie<br />

/ USA: The Color <strong>of</strong> Lies (Moteur, Action, Indiscrétion).<br />
