the Conservatoire d’Art Dramatique de Paris (1979–<br />

1981), he made his acting debut onstage and notably<br />

worked with Roger Planchon and Jean Mercure. He<br />

entered fi lms in 1981 (Eaux pr<strong>of</strong>ondes / USA: Deep<br />

Water, Michel Deville) and starred and played supporting<br />

roles in about 100 fi lms and TV movies.<br />
