Having graduated from the Ecole Nationale Louis<br />

Lumière in 1972, he started as a camera operator<br />

for the O.R.T.F (<strong>French</strong> TV at the time) and SFP<br />

(a production society that worked for TV) (1973–<br />

1979). He directed two shorts before working as a<br />

cameraman for several TV directors, including the<br />

most innovative <strong>of</strong> all, Jean-Christophe Averty. In<br />

the 1980s and 1990s, he directed commercials and<br />

musical videos for Michel Jonasz, Johnny Hallyday,<br />

and Vanessa Paradis.<br />
