USSR–)<br />

After being an assistant to directors André Cayatte<br />

and Edouard Molinaro, he worked with his father<br />

in a society <strong>of</strong> ready-to-wear clothes. He met fi lm<br />

technicians and decided to direct a documentary<br />

on an experimental school and then a feature fi lm,<br />

both <strong>of</strong> which were commercial failures. He dedicated<br />

himself to writing for twenty years authoring<br />

two novels (1990 La Mélodie d’Alzenheimer, Editions<br />

François Bourin; 2005 Le Pavé originel, Editions de La<br />

Martinière) and two books (1995 Gentleman Escroc,<br />

Editions Jean-Claude Lattès; 1997 Histoire d’Escrocs,<br />

Calmann-Lévy). More recently, he has shot a couple<br />

<strong>of</strong> TV documentaries. Other credit (as actor): 1998<br />

¡Viva Apocalypsa! (Philippe Truffault).<br />
