Guertchik<strong>of</strong>f (1919–1999), during her secondary<br />

studies at the Pasteur high school in Neuilly, she met<br />

future actors Thierry Lhermitte, Michel Blanc, Gérard<br />

Jugnot, and Christian Clavier. After studying political<br />

science for two years, she co-founded with her four<br />

friends a theatrical company, the Splendid, in 1974.<br />

From 1974 (La Face nord, short, Charles Nemes) to<br />

2008 (Miss Oliver a fi lé à l’anglaise, Claude Zidi), she<br />

played in about forty movies, including some Splendid<br />
