A former assistant director to Jean Delannoy, Alexandre<br />

Esway, Marc-Gilbert Sauvajon, and Emile-Edwin<br />

Reinert, he made his debut as a director at the RTF<br />

(<strong>French</strong> TV at the time) in 1951. In 1954, after a training<br />

course for US TV, he became artistic director <strong>of</strong><br />

various <strong>French</strong> TV channels: Télé Lille (1954), Paris-<br />

Télévision (1955), and Télé-Luxembourg (1957). He<br />

directed his only feature fi lm in 1960.<br />
