The son <strong>of</strong> an usherette, he graduated with a master’s<br />

degree in cinematographic studies from the<br />

cinema department at the University <strong>of</strong> Paris VIII. In<br />

1995, he played in two shorts (Pique-Nique Douille,<br />

Yvan Gauthier; Le Chien noir, also producer, Gilles<br />

Adrien) and created his own production company,<br />

Spiral <strong>Film</strong>s. He authored plays (1998 Le Couteau<br />

Sacher Masoch), he is a plastician who directed mostly<br />

experimental shorts. He authored or collaborated on<br />

several art books: 1991 Pab l’Enchanteur (Editions du<br />

Musée-Bibliothèque P. A. Benoît); 1993 C’est de l’Art<br />

(La Différence, Collection Mobile Matière); 1994 Le<br />

Bureau de l’Homme noir (print limited to 100 copies);<br />
