He started out as a journalist and opted for fi lm
directing after shooting his documentary Fortune de
Mer. He briefl y was an assistant director before fi lming
more than 100 video clips and commercials. From
1992 to 1995, he was the main director of sketches
for Les Guignols de l’Info, a satirical TV show for which
he is still working.
