He began shooting amateur Super-8 shorts at age<br />

eleven. Having graduated from the C.U.E.J. (Centre<br />

Universitaire du Journalisme de Strasbourg) in 2001,<br />

he earned his living as a journalist and reporter for<br />

TV channels. He shot commercials and institutional<br />

fi lms. His three feature fi lms were poorly released.<br />

Having trained at the Conservatoire National de<br />

Paris and at the Cours Florent, he is a member <strong>of</strong><br />

the comedy team Les Quiches. He directed or codirected<br />

half a dozen shorts and a feature fi lm and<br />

played in fi lms (2003 Quelques Mots d’Amour, short,<br />

Laetitia Colombani; 2004 Confi dences trop intimes,<br />

Patrice Leconte; 2006 Saltimbanques, Pierre-Yves<br />

Touzot) and on TV (2005 L’Homme qui voulait passer<br />

à la Télé, Amar Arhab, Fabrice Michelin; Allô Quiche, TV<br />

Having graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economic<br />

sciences (1990) and a degree in audiovisual<br />

and cinematographic studies (1991) from the University<br />

<strong>of</strong> Paris VII, he wrote articles for two reviews<br />

<strong>of</strong> the Centre de la Cinématographie (CNC Info, Ciné<br />

Qua Non) in 1992–1993. Then he worked as a second<br />

assistant director (1992 Les Mots perdus, Marcel<br />

Simard), fi rst assistant director (1995 Rien dans le Ventre,<br />

short, Carlo Pardo; A Fleur de Peau, Marion Laine),<br />

and production assistant (1990 Les Baigneurs, short,<br />

Jean-Marie Larrieu; 1991 Roman Photo, Carole Scotta;<br />

L’Enfant et le Caïman, short, Mustapha Dao, Burkina<br />

Faso; La Princesse blanche, Michel Rodde; Alisée, André<br />

activity remains fi lm dubbing (more than 100 movies).<br />
