clerk and was an art critic for La Revue Franco-Belge before<br />

decorating shops and apartments with his brother<br />

Pierre. Thanks to his elder sister, actress Henriette<br />

Delannoy (1900–1952), he played in several silent fi lms<br />

and talkies (1926 Casanova, Alexandre Volk<strong>of</strong>f; 1927<br />

Miss Helyett, Maurice Kéroul, Georges Monca; 1928<br />
