Memory Configuration<br />

ESIB<br />

COPY<br />

The COPY softkey activates the entry of the destination for the copy<br />

operation.<br />

By prefixing a disk drive letter (e.g. C:), a file can also be copied to another<br />

storage medium. When the ENTER key is pressed, the selected<br />

files/directories are copied.<br />

IEC/IEEE-bus command<br />

:MMEMory:COPY ’C:\user\data\setup.cfg’,’A:’<br />

DELETE<br />

The DELETE softkey deletes the selected files.<br />

To prevent accidental deletion of data, confirmation by the user is requested.<br />

:MMEMory:DELete ’<strong>TEST</strong>01.HCP’<br />

:MMEMory:RDIRectory ’C:\test’<br />

RENAME<br />

The RENAME softkey activates the entry of a new name for the selected file<br />

or directory.<br />

:MMEMory:MOVE ’<strong>TEST</strong>.CFG’, ’SETUP.CFG’<br />

MAKE<br />

DIRECTORY<br />

The MAKE DIRECTORY softkey creates directories/sub-directories. The use<br />

of sub-directories is recommended as a way of structuring the storage<br />

medium to make it easier to navigate.<br />

When entering a subdirectory, entry of an absolute path name (e.g.;<br />

"\USER\MEAS") as well as the path relative to the current directory (e.g.,<br />

"..\MEAS") is possible.<br />

SORT MODE<br />

The SORT MODE softkey activates the selection of the sort criteria for the<br />

files listed in the FILE MANAGEMENT table.<br />

Directory names are at the top of the list after the entry for the next highest<br />

directory level ("..").<br />

FORMAT<br />

DISK<br />

The FORMAT DISK softkey formats disks located in drive A:.<br />

To prevent accidental destruction of disks data, confirmation by the user is<br />

requested.<br />
