The INPUT SELECT softkey calls a submenu for selection an<br />

configuration of the RF input. Default setting is 50 Ohm and<br />

INPUT 1.<br />

By connecting an impedance converter RAM or RAZ ahead, the<br />

50-Ohm input can be transformed to 75 Ohm. ESIB<br />

automatically takes the corresponding correction values for the<br />

level display into account.<br />

Alternatively, the pulse-resistant INPUT 2 may be used in the<br />

frequency range up to 1 GHz. If INPUT 2 is switched on, the user<br />

can choose between AC and DC coupling.<br />

The RF INPUT 50 OHM softkey sets the input impedance to 50<br />

Ohm (= default setting). All level indications are referenced to 50<br />

Ohm.<br />

75 OHM/RAM<br />

The RF INPUT 75 OHM/RAM softkey sets the input impedance<br />

of the ESIB to 75 Ohm including the matching element RAM. All<br />

level indications are referenced to 75 Ohm.<br />

RF INPUT<br />

75 OHM/RAZ The RF INPUT 75 OHM/RAZ softkey sets the input impedance<br />

of the ESIB to 75 Ohm including the matching element RAZ. All<br />
