The STEP key in the DATA VARIATION key group opens a<br />

menu to match the step size of the individual delta markers<br />

to the specific application. In order to change the step size,<br />

the entry mode for a delta marker must already be active.<br />

Control is returned to the DELTA MARKER menu via the<br />

menu key .<br />

The STEPSIZE AUTO softkey sets the delta marker step size to AUTO. In<br />

this case, the step size of the delta marker is exactly 10% of the grid. The<br />

roll-key corresponds to 1/500, i.e., for each rotational pulse, the delta<br />

marker is shifted one pixel position.<br />

The STEPSIZE MANUAL softkey permits the entry of a fixed value for the<br />

delta marker step size.<br />

Pressing the step-key shifts the marker position by the selected step size.<br />

The roll-key resolution, however, always remains constant at 1 pixel.<br />

The DELTATO STEPSIZE softkey sets the delta marker step size to a<br />

quantity equal to the difference between the delta and reference markers.<br />

The softkey is only presented when at least one delta marker is switched<br />

on.<br />
