:SYSTem:COMMunicate:PRINter:ENUMerate:FIRSt?<br />

This command queries the name of the first printer (in the list of printers) under Windows NT.<br />

The names of other installed printers can be queried with command :SYSTem:COMMunicate:<br />

PRINter:ENUMerate:NEXT?. The numeric suffix in PRINter is not significant.<br />

If no printer is configured an empty string is output.<br />

Example:<br />

":SYST:COMM:PRIN:ENUM:FIRS?"<br />

:SYSTem:COMMunicate:PRINter:ENUMerate:NEXT?<br />

This command queries the name of the next printer installed under Windows NT.<br />

This command can only be sent after command :SYSTem:COMMunicate:PRINter:<br />

ENUMerate:FIRSt?.<br />

An empty string is output after all printer names have been output. The numeric suffix in<br />

PRINter is not significant.<br />

":SYST:COMM:PRIN:ENUM:NEXT?"<br />

:SYSTem:COMMunicate:PRINter:SELect <br />

This command selects one of the printers installed under Windows NT.<br />

The name of the first printer is queried with FIRSt?. After that the names of other installed printers<br />

can be queried with NEXT?. The numeric suffix in PRINter selects the device.<br />

Parameter: ::= string which has been queried with commands<br />

:SYSTem:COMMunicate :PRINter:ENUMerate:FIRSt? and NEXT?.<br />

Example:<br />

":SYST:COMM:PRIN:SEL ‘HP_DESKJET660’"<br />

:SYSTem:DATE 1980 to 2099, 1 to 12, 1 to 31<br />

This command is used to enter the date for the internal calendar.<br />

Example: " SYST:DATE 1994,12,1"<br />

The sequence of entry is year, month, day.<br />
