2.1.2. Configuration of e‐FAST<br />

As shown <strong>in</strong> [Fig. 2.2], e‐FAST is consisted of three sections. The process model of a<br />

center is the thermo‐hydraulic code for the NPP safety analysis. The graphic user<br />

<strong>in</strong>terface of outside provides the function that the user can use various functions and the<br />

execution method provided by simulation control program through graphical display.<br />

Each graphic of graphic user <strong>in</strong>terface can be helpful for the user to understand the<br />

nuclear power plant and provides the function to operate us<strong>in</strong>g the menu or target button.<br />

Each system model is modularized to make the analysis, modification and change of the<br />

model easily. The detailed configuration of Process Model is shown as [Fig. 2.3]. The<br />

core of e‐FAST is the reactor core thermo‐hydraulic model and the models of safety<br />

system, ma<strong>in</strong> equipment, secondary system(BOP), control system etc. are connected to<br />

the reactor core thermo‐hydraulic model to carry out the simulation effectively.<br />
