2.1. NPPs Status<br />

This menu comprises two sub-menus; Worldwide NPP and Search for NPP. At present<br />

there are approximately 656 NPP units <strong>in</strong> the world and by click<strong>in</strong>g on the "Worldwide<br />

NPP" the user can see the worldwide NPP by country.<br />

In the "Worldwide NPP" page, click<strong>in</strong>g on the specific country tab will br<strong>in</strong>g the user to<br />

the country specific NPPs. The user can see the licens<strong>in</strong>g related <strong>in</strong>formation of each<br />

reactor; i.e, the Reactor Type, Capacity(MWe), Reactor Provider, Construction Start<strong>in</strong>g<br />

Date, Date of <strong>in</strong>itial Criticality, Synchronization Date, Date of Commercial Operation<br />

Date, Trip Date, Operational Status, and Details.<br />

By click<strong>in</strong>g a tab below the "Details", the user can see the design features about the<br />

respective plant. Some of NSSS related <strong>in</strong>formations are tabulated and capacity factor for<br />

the past 10 years is also shown <strong>in</strong> a bar chart.<br />

By default, the NPP list is sorted <strong>in</strong> alphabetic order and the user can search a specific<br />

NPP at the "Search for NPP" menu. The user can also click the country and the specific<br />

NPP <strong>in</strong> the map to get the same above <strong>in</strong>formation.<br />

For example, Figure 2 shows the web-page for the domestic NPP status <strong>in</strong> <strong>Korea</strong> and<br />

Figure 3 shows the web-page of the detailed <strong>in</strong>formation about Kori-1.<br />
