Each important external man‐induced event shall be expressed in terms that can be used as input for deriving the design‐basis for these events for the NPP. Aircraft crashes If the evaluation shows that there is a potential for an aircraft crash on the site that can affect the safety of the plant, then an evaluation of the risk shall be made. If this study indicates that the risks are unacceptable and if no practicable solutions are available, then the site shall be deemed unsuitable.
