1.2.4. Establishment of a Nuclear Safety Information Disclosure<br />

Cyber System<br />

Recently, with the rapid development of <strong>in</strong>formation technology, the nuclear safety<br />

<strong>in</strong>formation disclosure system has been established. With the expansion of the<br />

<strong>in</strong>formation structure, large amounts of <strong>in</strong>formation can now be searched, whenever and<br />

wherever, facilitat<strong>in</strong>g the access of <strong>in</strong>formation, which <strong>in</strong> turn, <strong>in</strong>creases the transparency<br />

throughout the society and emphasizes the citizen's right to rema<strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong>formed on public<br />

sector operations. The NSIC made efforts to rapidly and accurately publicize the nuclear<br />

safety related <strong>in</strong>formation and through bilateral communication with various ranks, it is<br />

be<strong>in</strong>g upgraded through parallel establishment and the operation of physical and cyber<br />

public <strong>in</strong>formation systems.<br />

The <strong>in</strong>formation disclosure cyber system (Here<strong>in</strong> ‘IDCS’) is <strong>in</strong>stalled with the 11 ma<strong>in</strong><br />

menus and related sub‐menus like ‘Request for Information’. The <strong>in</strong>itial display page of<br />

IDCS and its <strong>in</strong>formation structure by menu are shown <strong>in</strong> Figure 2 and Table 1.<br />
