2. Determinan un nivel de presión positiva, y duración del
tratamiento más prolongado en pacientes con insuficiencia
respiratoria aguda hipoxémica.
3. Permite un grado de comunicación, alimentación y ventajas
de Interfase en el control del paciente superior a la
mascarilla facial.
4. Su aplicación debe ser siempre por personal entrenado,
y puede ser factible en el ámbito extra hospitalario, servicios
de Urgencias, Emergencias y Unidades de Cuidados
Intensivos, en pacientes seleccionados y con insuficiencia
respiratoria aguda hipoxémica.
